The NOAA Climate Modeling and Research System
In July 2009, NOAA and DOE completed a Work for Others (WFO) Agreement to enter into more sustained projects for the challenges which require a closer cooperation and understanding between DOE/ORNL and NOAA.
Under the terms of this Agreement, ORNL shall provide research collaboration and technical support for high performance computer and data systems that will deliver improved climate data and model experiments.
To further these research goals, ORNL is issuing Solicitation 6400009257 for a high performance computing and storage system tailored to meet Climate Modeling and Research mission requirements.

Section A, Block 5 of the Solicitation and Offer lists the US Postal Service (USPS) Address for UT-Battelle, LLC. This address may be used for delivery via a USPS carrier. However, delivery to this postal address via a commercial shipping carrier such as FedEx, UPS, DHL or similar may incur delays in delivery and notification.
Offerors that choose to use a commercial shipping carrier should have hard copies and physical media delivered to
